The Outcome
I had the opportunity to share my MetaSkill journey in front of my peers and watch as they shared theirs.

I focused on maintaining a healthy lifestyle by implementing cardio and various gym techniques into my semester journey. This created discipline, fueled my motivation for being active and ultimately, proved to myself that consistency is key.

Upon presenting my video and being judged, I received 1st place based on the complexity of my skill, my dedication and video editing.

20-Hour Metaskill Showcase Display
On September 5, 2023, my work (along with 4 of my peers) was showcased within The Innovation Studio at D.H. Hill Library on NC State's campus.
The Innovation Studio @ D.H. Hill Library

It is equipped with a unique exhibits platform built around interactive projection on the tables in the space.

Four projection surfaces of 10’ by 5’ are formed by four tables coming together in each of the Studio’s four quadrants. A 4K projector delivers content onto each of the tables, while a 3D Depth Camera senses users’ hand motions as they interact with what’s projected.

The experience is driven by a software application built especially for the NC State University Libraries by Relative Scale, a Raleigh-based firm with multiple NC State alumni on its staff.
